Fashion History
The Ask
To create a construction of the prominent fashion trends and silhouettes from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Comprised of images representing a timeline and educational overview of the history of the trends of the three decades.
Ideation
In taking a Contemporary Fashion class in my sophomore year of college, I learned in-depth about fashion history from the Victorian Era into the Early 2000s. Through this, I did comprehensive research on the history of each decade. Looking at how the occurrences of the decades impacted fashion for men, women, and children. I compiled all my research into a visual file, utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
